If you want pure sound quality go for anything by Grado, Igrado and Sr60i are both awesome and cost about £40 and £80 respectively, yet look much less snazzy than those purple cans
More on topic, i bought a load of books for my A levels, and lots of snack foods.

yeah i've read some reviews about those purple ones and it seems you either get looks or sound with headphones, rarely both.
