I didn't buy them but I was given test presses for Trist - Sebevražední andělé and Grimnir/Trist/Regnum/Hypothermia 4 way split.

Hopefully it will still be in stock for a bit, as people ( or me anyway ) don't associate HMV with low prices due to their storefront but if not Rise Above will have it and you'll pay a bit more, still its pretty much one of the best doom albums recorded and i need to hear it on analogue. As a buffer for all the lofi black metal cassettes i'm impulse buying haha.

That's awesome, even if I have only heard of Trist and not the other 3 artists. I don't own many test presses due to the price people are usually looking for (which is understandable as they cost a lot to press nowadays/usually the rarest item in a band's physical releases). I got the Dillinger ones by chance; a friend I had made through the internet found out I was a fan of the band as well as an avid vinyl collector and told me he knew someone that had 3 Dillinger test presses (Calculating Infinity - Hydra Head records, Calculating Infinity - Relapse records, Miss Machine - Relapse records). This made my life as Calculating Infinity, to me, is like a tutorial of how to write technical/hardcore/metal properly. |
