Did anyone from here make it to the Leeds La Dispute gig? I was so happy to see so many people at a gig like that, Le Pre Ou Je Suis Mort and La Dispute were both incredible.

It was really fun! The new Antares material sounds incredible, we had a fun set which included me pretty much taking apart the drum kit while Tommy fell over amps into it!

ai, was a laugh for me! we tried a new song & I almost kinda sorta made a half-passable attempt at the vocals (it's Super hard trying to remember the placements when you're not just sat at home going over an instrumental version on CD!!). WDS sounded great, from the bar when they played their first one (new song?) it sounded Botch-heavy, i dug! Still need to get songs on a CD so I can, y'know, know whats going on with it all, but another Class gig by the boys, can't fucking wait for the tour in August!
Foot&Mouth, I think it's a chap with a little too much enthusiasm and not enough...um.....making things work?! he offered us some sorta release back before Alex offered us aboard the good ship Roar, glad we turned it down! I can understand why you guys went with him though cos those tapes did look class
(Le Pre Ou Je Suis Mort were boring!)

In Canterbury Le Pre Ou Je Suis Mort outclassed La Dispute tenfold. I was hugely impressed by them, absolutely loved their set and they were really cool guys too.
La Dispute were cool too obviously, although I have never really liked them on CD I much preferred it live.

(Le Pre Ou Je Suis Mort were boring!) Saw them at the Canterbury show and every time they noodled on for too long and I thought they'd lost me they did something to grab my attention again. Would definitely check them out again.

meh, it was a high-energy gig & Frenchies didn't cut the mustard for me.. "lets play twinkle-minimalist and whisper in french...then 'suckerpunch' them with loud & screams"..I gave 'em 4 songs and they bored me. La Dispute i wanna check out on record, the vocals definitely had TheMarmiteEffect from speakin to mates, but I think i was into it..

Really sorry I should clarify that we're not longer going on this tour because of my work commitments. Really dissappointed it was shaping up to be a really good laugh!
However, as far as I know Antares and Kerouac still are.
