September Update

t's been a busy month.

The Life in the Dark CDr came and went very quickly, however you can still stream/purchase a digital copy of the release over at our newly created "bandcamp" page, here - www.sunyatarecordings.bandcamp.com.

Next up is the Ensorcelor cassette. I adore this band and I implore you to check them out. Slow burning yet aggressive, filthy yet beautiful, ultra blackened DOOOM. 100 pro-printed copies, on grey cassette, including an A4 photocopied poster. Pre-orders are being taken right now, and the first 10 orders will receive an extra print of the awesome "tentacleburg" design. Aesahaettr cassettes are still available, but certainly won't be around forever. My favourite black metal album of the year, the almost 20 minute track on the b-side of this cassette is VITAL to your survival. Going to have a small break from releasing to work on music and some other "real life" things, but Sunyata will be back soon with out next batch of cassettes. Watch out.

Great, I hope it all arrived ok! Thanks so much for your support, it's appreciated hugely.

Couple of updates - Livimørket shirts are going to be printed soon, limited to 10 (maybe 15) shirts. ALL money made from these will go directly towards funding mastering for the upcoming full length album that has been in the works since last year! It's a proud achievement for me and I want it to have the best possible treatment when it comes to mixing and mastering, so hopefully I can raise enough from the shirts to get it mastered by James Plotkin.

Also, some new LitD material should be released within the next couple of months. It's a concept record and it deals with noise and harmonic feedback much more so than the first EP.

Awesome yeah everything arrived fine as always, oh the vocalist from my bands gonna be getting in touch with you at some point regarding his BM project o look forward to that.

New Life in the Dark is up on myspace. It's loud.

After a month or so with no releases we are edging closer to our next
batch of tapes, get ready, because they will blow your mind. A couple
of bits of news before that though..

1) We have new items in our online store
(www.sunyatarecordings.bigcartel.com) from the awesome Starlight
Temple Society. In order to put up the new items we need to make space
in our store, and there are only a couple of each STS release
remaining so get your orders in and they will be sent out the
same/next day. The Lonesummer CD in particular is worth your time, and
the Velvet Cocoon and Schrei Aus Stein CDs are top quality pieces of
melencholic black metal. Plus each release comes in packaging of the
highest order, especially the Velvet Cocoon disc housed in a 7" sized
printed envelope. The Aesahaettr and Ensorcelor cassettes are also
still available, in dwindling amounts, so act quick.

2) I cannot yet reveal our upcoming tape releases, but I can say that
one will come be available with an exclusive pre-order shirt. This is
a first for us, an experiment to test the waters on this concept.
There will also be a short run of Livimørket t-shirts made soon, any
money made from these will go directly towards the cost of mastering
the new full length album, by the legendary James Plotkin. Information
will be available soon in regards to both the new tapes and the new
shirts.

3) Both Life in the Dark and Sleeping Peonies will be making their
live performance debuts on the 12th November at the Marquee, Norwich.
Cloaca and Hateful Abandon will also be performing, with another band

4) Finally, you may "like" Sunyata Recordings on Facebook, if you so
wish. We do not wish to push this label upon people at all, but as
many people now use Facebook much more than email it is a good way of

Hello,

I hope you are all well and surviving the current weather. The UK has
had a lot of snow which has delayed some mailorder being posted for
the past few days but any outstanding orders should go out tomorrow,
first class as always. There are a couple of pieces of news to touch
on this month.

Firstly, there has been a slight delay in the production of the
Livimørket "Deer" t-shirts. The t-shirts were scheduled to be printed
and sent out by mid/late December but this date has now changed to
mid/late January. I apologise very much for this delay, but it
couldn't be avoided due to the time of year. I thank you very much for
your patience though, and your shirts will be sent first class!

Secondly, the debut release from LIFE IN THE DARK, "The Sunya is
Rising," which has been sold out for quite some time has now been made
available as a PAY WHAT YOU LIKE digital download. If you have a small
amount you could spare then it is hugely appreciated but if not then
feel free to enter no amount and have a free download on us! Go here

Lastly, I would just like to thank you all for making all the effort
put into this label seem worthwhile. Your support and custom has been
vital to the survival of this label and while we still lose money
putting out every release, it feels more than worthwhile. More
