I heard they had a massive PA problem or something at the london show, or something like that so you may not have missed much.
On that subject, Autopergamene is majestic. The last track is fantastic. I also need to check out the new Planning for Burial, is that the lonesummer split you're referring to zen?

Yeah, Nadja didn't get to play even a full song due to electronic problems. Glad I didn't go in the end.
Autopergamene is one of the best of the year, as well as one of the best records in the Nadja back catalogue too. Ruins of Morning is impressive also, although it takes rather a lot of patience. Yeah, the PFB/Lonesummer split is quite magnificent. PFB tracks sound like the drone version of Arab Strap, or something a long those lines, it's really impressive stuff. Lonesummer tracks are good too, especially the last track. Music Ruins Lives have been the best label of the year in terms of 100% quality output.. and they only started a few months ago! It's crazy.

With all the new stuff coming out and releases i'm waiting in the post for it is hard to make a concise list. Definites so far are: Maxsta - The Maxtape Vile Gash - Vile Gash Rolo Tomassi - Cosmology Foals - Total Life Forever Throats - Throats So much good stuff, i can't wait for the new Black Twilight tapes to arrive. New Volahn!! Plus Arizmenda and Dolovotre looks really cool! But for Re-issues Electric Wizard - Dopethrone DLP Aborted Christ Childe - Aborted Christe Childe. Absolutely sickening black metal and grindcore from 1994, it destroys anything in terms of violent intensity.

I took awhile to think of a lot of stuff I liked this year, but I probably missed out loads of obvious stuff..
Aesahaettr - Aesahaettr Agalloch - Marrow of the Spirit Altar of Plagues - Tides Ash Pool - For Which He Plies The Lash Barn Owl - Ancestral Star Black Boned Angel - The Witch Must Be Killed Black September - The Forbidden Gates Beyond Burzum - Belus Celestiial - Where Life Springs Eternal Circle of Ouroborus/Crooked Necks - Ruins of Resurrection Crystal Castles - II Dead Letters Spell Out Dead Words - No Words Deathspell Omega - Paracletus Deftones - Diamond Eyes Dispirit - Rehearsal tape El -Ahrairah - Rotted Roots (I don't know if this is out yet, but I got to hear it ages ago and it's insane) Have a Nice Life - Time of Land Heaven in Her Arms - Paraselene Horrid Cross - III Locrian - Territories (I've heard The Crystal World is AMAZING also, but I haven't got it yet) Lonesummer - Satisfaction Feels Like a Tomb (I think this was 2010) Lustre - Glimpse of Glory Menace Ruine - Union of Irreconcilables Monarch - Sabbat Noir Moon - Caduceus Chalice Murmuüre - Murmuüre Nadja - Autopergamene Nadja - Ruins Of Morning Natural Snow Buildings - The Centauri Agent Pale Sketcher - Pale Sketches Demixed (only remix album I know that is 100 times better than the original album) Pallbearer - Demo Resurrectionists - S/T (eh, I dunno how much I actually like this, but about 5 years ago I would have loved it. It's still pretty sweet I think) Robedoor - Burners S U R V I V E - LLR002 Sailors With Wax Wings - Sailors With Wax Wings (possibly the best of the year) Salem - King Night Skullflower/White Medal - Split Sleeping Peonies - Rose curl, Sea swirl Sleeping Peonies - Ghosts, and Other Things (I don't think this is out yet, but i've heard it and it's incredible) Swans - My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky (trendy as hell right now for some reason, and this doesn't come close to Greed but I dig it.) Thou - Summit Twilight - Monument To Time End Whirl - Distressor EP Woe - Quietly, Undramatically Wold - Working Together for Our Privacy Year Of No Light - Ausserwelt (Ok, THIS is the best album of the year. Screw everything else on this list.)

eurgh. I have no idea about this. off the top of my head. no order, probably missing a lot:
year of no light - ausserwelt aerosols - S/T veins - S/T tape basement - songs about the weather the men - immaculada salem - king night ceremony - rohnert park vaccine - human hatred arcade fire - suburbs twin stumps - seedbed kaddish - S/T nomos - notes from the acheron confines - withdrawn
also really into the Merchandise LP and the new Tigers Jaw record, but seeing as I've only had them a few weeks I can't really merit them yet! new maths is also insane but I'm pretty certain I can't count that just yet.
