Panopticon - On the Subject of Mortality
Insanely good record. Raw black metal with hints of prog and a Mineral/Appleseed Cast/Sunny Day Real Estate feel in places too.. but not shit, how that description sounds.

Raggedy Angry - "How I Learned To Love Our Robot Overlords" album. I saw this band supporting The Birthday Massacre (guilty pleasure) in Bristol on Sunday, and was fucking blown away by their set, and immediately bought the CD. They're kinda industrial-ly, synthrock. They sound massive live, and scream really well. The studio album is a little more reserved, but still passionate. Also, in their set, they played a cover of Robot Rock by Daft Punk, which was fucking intense. It's not on the album though

Clair Cassis is pretty great, although it always feels like a simpler Velvet Cacoon to me. The later Velvet Cacoon stuff was just insanely good.

Andrew's got mah copy of P aa Opal Poere Pr. 33 ... But thats probably the only VC i ever listened to apart from Dextronaut because back when i first heard of them was when the whole album stealing thing happened, so I stayed clear. I just find the elegant simplicity of Clair Cassis enchanting in a way that VC just wasnt.... VC is like being pulled under the waves slowly, Clair Cassis is like floating on top of them, haha ;P

Grouper, for the first time ever. I genuinely feel cheated that I've never listened to her stuff before, it's bliss.
