Darkspace II is their best record and is really, really good, but doesn't come close to the self-titled Paysage d'Hiver tape.

Love Paysage d'Hiver. Those tapes I bought off of you in Norwich were pretty decent by the way - it took me a while to get around to it but I've heard them all now. Æsahættr's tape is still my favourite black metal release this year though.

I wonder when the new Paysage D'hiver demo will be completed, really looking forward to gradually getting them all. Still cranking the Jackman demo currently. Also Rhinocervs - I. Really great black metal by some of Volahn's guys from BTC; also waiting anxiously to receive my Volahn Live LP.

I have been revisiting the 90's with.... Slavearc Withdrawn Ironside Suicide Nation Creation is Crucifixion Sam & Dave (Just for a bit of variety)

The Angelic Process - Weighing Souls With Sand
Makes me want to quit writing music because it's so good.

A new 7" is already being recorded, but he broke the microphone doing vocals, hoopefully out early next year on PI. I'm pretty excited for it myself.

Yeah, I came across it on that Funeral Stench blog. Some pretty sweet stuff doing the rounds on there. If you like that then have a search for a band called Bodycop. Really early Swans worship. But the mega lo-fi production gives it a similar vibe to Jackman.
