Saw those guys live and they were terrible...all the songs were predictable accompanied by bad lyrics. The recordings are good quality though so well done with that.

I think it's better than most of the stuff that is popular right now. If Braid were as trendy and popular with young people as Gallows/Throats/BWP then this band would be loved.

thats really interesting dale! i think they are pretty good live. maybe it was a bad night when you saw them! we all have them! as for the lyrics. im not going to lie. i think they a pretty honest and awesome lyrics. anyway! each to their own!

I love Braid as much as Gallows. Throats and BWP are hardly known at all where I am. It's just my honest opinion - not my cup of tea but I love the fact their name comes from South Park.

There's no right way for me to explain why I dislike the lyrics. After all, I respect that people take influence from artists that are important to them, personally. Also, in music, I like to believe that the only opinions that matter are that of the writers' anyways. Sure I don't like your music but that's just an irrelevant outsider's opinion.
I'm not quite sure why you're interested in knowing what lyrical style I prefer. Some work for me and some don't.
Simply put - the music (as a whole, not just the lyrics) - it's just not my thing.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this. I actually quite like it, nice to see something refreshing that doesn't sound identical to everything else. Good job on the recording as well, sounds good!
