Rolo Tomassi may have been referred to as the north of Englands best kept secret, although theyre not going to be a secret for much longer. With five tracks and a short piano piece clocking in at just under 25 minutes, the band are set to smash any preconceptions you may have had about a) extreme and spazzy music and b) the band themselves and their age. Far more evolved than the constraints of jazzy noise or synth-screamo, Rolo Tomassi leap confidently from genre to genre. Moments of oddly-timed chaos flow comfortably into sanguine prog-rock workouts, otherworldly, alien noises sit happily alongside bass-led doom riffs. Its eclectic stuff - without ever sounding disjointed.

rolo tomassi are one of, if not my favorite band. was shattered that after 6 months of anticipation for their soundwave shows i end up sick in bed.
on the plus side the signed setlist and posters rule.
ordered the hassle lp and the special ed cd. hoping the holy roar vinyl lasts long enough for me to get one

Haha nice myself and Dale managed to snatch every version of cosmology - best £60 on an album ever I was really tempted to buy all versions too, but due to lack of funds I only ordered the special edition and the Holy Roar vinyl. I'll probably pick up the regular CD version at some point.

lol @ iTunes - "Agamenemnon"
But on a serious note; if Hassle don't give out mp3s of the subs tracks then I'm tempted to get this for a high quality rip of golden ghost. The crackling get's annoying on the one I did.
