Why would you buy a shirt for something that doesn't exist yet?? That always confuses me, like when bands have shirts before they have recordings.

I meant that people would sell the shirt to build hype. but now I realise that doesn't answer your question...

Why would you buy a shirt for something that doesn't exist yet?? That always confuses me, like when bands have shirts before they have recordings. In what way doesn't it exist? We exist as a company already, we have worked out distribution deals etc etc......so I dont see how you can say this just because the company doesn't seem to have done anything to you yet. It's only vague at the moment because we ourselves are still working out everything we will do, none of it is to build hype and we made shirts for us to wear, our friends and we had to make a minimum amount - so some are for sale.

Oh come on, don't try that "just because YOU don't think it's done anything" stuff. To every single person buying the shirt, it doesn't exist yet. This is just like a band selling merch, when they have no recordings and haven't played any shows. I'm not saying you are wrong for selling them, i'm actually just wondering why on earth anyone would buy one without having a clue as to what it is.

We exist, and if people are interested or like the shirt, then they can buy it if they want to.
I don't get why you are knocking people who might be interested in what Holy Roar/BSM etc are doing.....heaven forbid we should have a bit of fun with the stuff we are doing, whilst trying to make as much of a go of our companies as possible.....

I want Holy Roar to do well, of course. I just find it mind-boggling as to why anyone would. Like I said, I have no problem with you selling it, I am just shocked anyone would buy it without knowing at all what it is for really.

Hello Pink Mist
It’s go time…
Pink Mist is a new independent UK label collective comprised of Big Scary Monsters, Holy Roar Records and Blood and Biscuits. Three of the UK’s leading DIY tastemaker labels, each with their own individual niche, but with a shared attitude towards music.
The new collective is a natural culmination of years of affiliation through collaborative releases, joint tours and sharing common goals, having already introduced music fans around the world to UK artists such as *deep breath*… Rolo Tomassi, Three Trapped Tigers, Pulled Apart By Horses, Gallows, Adebisi Shank, Meet Me In St Louis, Tubelord, Throats, Dananananaykroyd, Gallops, This Town Needs Guns, Tall Ships, Holy State and many, many more. Not to mention releases by U.S acts such as Andrew W.K, Trash Talk, Kevin Devine and Walter Schreifels (Rival Schools).
Pink Mist is set to form a united front, continuing to bring you the most exciting new music from a rich and vibrant UK scene the labels have become synonymous with.
The debut Pink Mist release ‘Hello Pink Mist’ is fittingly released on Record Store Day (April 16th). The first in a series of Pink Mist tours sees Three Trapped Tigers and Tall Ships tearing through the UK this May.
