We're a tiny bit late with this month's update, sorry! Please blame the fact that we have been releasing more records than we have had hot meals. So yeah, we have been too busy. Genuinely TOO busy. So here's a bit of a 'state of play'....

New Bands on Holy Roar!
- This is a total newsletter exclusive. We are happy to announce that we will be releasing the debut album by Abolition on LP late this summer/early autumn. I really don't think there is a band doing mid-nineties metallic hardcore better. Not retro whatsoever though, Abolition push forward and are TIGHT as hell live. They also aren't macho 'bros' - just lovely guys making music they love. Abolition rule.
Secondly we will, in conjunction with BSM, be releasing the debut EP by Middlesbrough 4-piece Rosa Valle. Despite BSM releasing a song as part of their '11 collection' MP3 club, I first became aware of Rosa Valle when my band played a last-minute show with them in Middlesbrough. To say they blew my mind would be an understatement. Young dudes playing RoloBrontideShapesBlakfishFallofTroy-esque noises, while being uniquely their own. This will be available on one-sided customised 12" vinyl and CD.
Fesitval stalls!
- So festival season is now firmly upon us. Camden Crawl has been and gone, the Great Escape is this weekend in Brighton and then the real big boys roll into view. While we are GUTTED that Offset festival is not happening in its current form this year, we are hugely happy to announce that we will have a stall at Rumble 3 - Saturday 4th June at the Underworld, London. The line up for this is amazing - Brutality Will Prevail, Hang The Bastard, Crossbreaker and many many more... Secondly we will also have a stall at Hevy Fest this year in Kent. Again - the line up is insane - www.hevy.co.uk - we will have exclusive merch and all releases at both.
Upcoming releases
- Next up will be the Slabdragger album 'Regress' on 2xLP. This will go up for pre-order end of May. Not far behind will be a Jackals/Self Loathing split 7" and a Jackals/No Coast split 7". Then the Rosa Valle EP and Crossbreaker 7".....but let's not get too ahead of ourselves! There is also plenty more on the horizon! Please buy stuff so we don't get broke/bankrupt over at holyroarrecords.com/shop.php
