At The Soundhouse:
LETS TALK DAGGERS (http://www.facebook.com/letstalkdaggers/app_178091127385) (http://www.tangledtalk.com/artists/lets-talk-daggers/)
Let’s Talk Daggers are a three piece experimental post-hardcore band from Eastbourne, UK featuring Will Gunson, Jim Windless and Steven Berwick. Despite originating from a coastal town that’s more often associated as a retirement destination rather than a musical hub, the band play a style of music that couldn’t be any more of an antithesis to their sleepy backdrop. Loud, fast and frantic, their sound is an unnerving blend of genres and styles that would come across as disjointed and cocophonous if attempted by most bands, incorporating elements of art-punk, hardcore, jazz and metal.
The band’s self-titled, debut EP was recorded with producer Nick Kinnish (Architects, Johnny Truant, Blakfish, Throats) in August 2009 and introduced a talented, young group that aren’t afraid of experimentation and who, refreshingly, don’t feel the need to fit into a particular scene, instead opting for a writing process that simply involves “putting all of our favourite sounds into each and every song.” In January 2010, Let’s Talk Daggers returned to Serafina Studios to record the four tracks that would make up Blankets. Marking a noticeable progression for the band, the EP demonstrates a more focussed and mature sound to their previous
effort, without losing any of the originality and fearlessness that makes them such an exciting prospect for the future. Their third EP, Winter was released in January 2012.

two men.1 guitar, 1 drumkit= an unholy racket of gleeful proportions!
ALRIGHT THE CAPTAIN (http://alrightthecaptain.bandcamp.com/)
Alright the Captain are three badgers from Northern Ireland, Birmingham and Ilkeston who met randomly in the East Midlands, found that they had a shared love for bands like Hella, Squarepusher and Primus and decided to make their own loud experimental math-rock together.
ATC have shared stages with bands such as Mono, Tera Melos, This Will Destroy You, Zu , Holy Fuck, Ungdomskulen, And So I Watch You From Afar, Adebisi Shank, Gifts From Enola, Maybeshewill and loads more all over the UK, Ireland and Europe and are always touring so don't hesitate to get in touch.
Debut album "SNIB", a 10 track LP recorded by Tim Waterfield was released on 7th Feb 2011.
DIY ethics are something the lads are more than used to with Marty running bUTTONpUSHER bookings and PR and all the bands artwork/design being done in-house by Todd
