also just discovered I'm back from holiday on the 18th, so I can go to Rewired (H) even though there's only 2 bands I want to see

I booked a coach from thetford to london costing £17
The coach drove straight past without stopping at 2:55pm
I phoned up national express who booked me on to the next coach coming in.
I got on to the next coach at 5:30pm.
After nearly a 3 hour journey I arrived at HEATHROW AIRPORT (8.20pm) the completely wrong side of London.
By this point I knew I had missed run,Walk and probably Three Trapped Tigers too. I wasn't even sure I would catch rolo the way things had gone...
After a lot of panic and running about an airport I have never been to in my life I found myself a taxi which took me to Camden Underworld after a 40 minute drive costing me £70.
I got inside the venue just in time to catch Rolo Tomassi begin their set (the whole of cosmology + turbulence, fofteen, abraxas). This cheered me up a lot! Also bought some merch which cost about £15. (around 9.10pm)
At this point I realised I had only £120 left and seriously could not afford to spend anymore to reach the afterparty etc. I was beyond stressed after cluelessly running around the airport (I seriously have never been to one in my life!)
I phoned a taxi service who said they can take me back to Thetford for £100.
After a 2 and a half hour car journey I arrived home at 1:15am only for the taxi driver to demand another £20; wiping me out completely.
When I got home I remembered my mate gave me £10 to buy Cosmology for him but of course, it would have been impossible given the money situation so I now have to give him one of my own copies of that too!

So I spent a lot more money than I had ever intended to, missed two awesome bands who I really wanted to see and got more fucking stressed than I have ever been when travelling. I didn't even have time to hang out with anyone either.

I fucking hate coach drivers now!

ps- Rolo were incredible, tight and brutal and the show itself I did enjoy!

mate your dedication is incredible, but equally perhaps checking where the coach is going etc, and getting your head around london travel etc might be a very good idea for future reference?!?!? it would save you alot of money!
