Let's get the skramz going in here!
So to start off, I could let you know about my passion for Circle Takes The Square I guess. They are such an amazing band, I can't even describe how fucking good they are. Talented and really nice people all around, Drew is an incredible lyricist too, and not only that but his drawings/paintings are also really well done. A band full of talent, pretty much.
Other shit I like would be for example Jeromes Dream, a bit of Orchid, really dig Suis La Lune, Maths, and that's just a few of them.

Saw some mentions, I really like Loma Prieta, Life/Less is so freaking good. Daïtro and Raein are sweet as fuck too.
The reason I wrote "skramz" is because kids these days use "screamo" for bands like Bullet For My Valentine and it's just an easier way to identify people who listen to the real thing. I agree it's a silly term though.

Daitro are unreal as are la Quiete and Meandgoliath. Probably my favourites along with loma prieta right now.

Would it be controversial for me to say I have basically no interest in screamo nowadays? Of course, I can happily listen to Orchid, Reversal of Man, Jeromes Dream, Palatka etc etc etc all day long.. but modern stuff.. nothing excites me like those bands did when I first heard them.
