Razorshite, it's in the name, U2 just bore me, and I can't stand Bono's voice.

Andy I am ASHAMED! .. You haven't even mentioned Alestorm aka Battleheart! D: They were Battleheart for a few digital only Eps and then became Alestorm when signed to Napalm. Evile - Was lucky enough to see them on Gigantour with Megadeth and terrible JFAC. Lucky to see Mike before he died. RIP. Biffy Clyro - Older stuff will prob be a lot more liked here .. >_> The Blackout - Not seen them live but a lot of people are saying they are pretty great live. BMTH - Oli Sykes .. <3 .. Oh And I love the music .. >_> Funerl for a Friend .. One of my fav bands. D: Plan B's first album is great. Skindred - Meant to be amazing live .. Another I'm yet too see. Stone Gods - OH WHERO MY BEERO!

Alestorm gets old fast. Evile, not heard enough of them to form an opinion. Biffy Clyro, The old stuff is better but I still like the new stuff. The Blackout, no thanks. BMTH, I like their music, but Sykes, bah. Funeral For A Friend, Hours is a brilliant album. Plan B, who? Skindred, Lots of fun live. Stone Gods, who?

This forum is making me realise the widespread appeal that Holy Roar seems to have. I am shocked that anyone that listens to BMTH has even heard of bands like Maths and We'll Die Smiling and Manuscripts etc etc. It's rather interesting, and in my opinion shows the power of putting effort into promoting and releasing real music with real intentions.

I've only heard of them because of Andrew ... But yeah .. I'm not a big fan or liker of most bands here as it is .. But I am all for supporting young bands that are slaving there arse of to get somewhere in the industry.
Bands I *DO* like from here:
Trash Talk. Youves Rolo Tomassi .. All your fault Andrew ...
Some: Run Walk! Pulled apart by horses.

Ill have to stick my nose in and say I like Blitz Kids, music taste buds i guess but ADTR i cant stand, used to like them, they use "breakdowns" way too much and cant make anything else in their set sound better than average, much rather see four year strong a band i really like who played a real good support set the other day is the dead formats, dont know if anyone would be a fan of it, but they played pretty much all new stuff and i couldnt pick a bad song, album drops early next year i think... but i think theyre rather catchy XD

I'm all about UK hardcore: dead swans, more than life, brutality will prevail, hang the bastard, last witness, TRC, throats, ...
none-hardcore as well of course: rolo tomassi, architects, bring me the horizon,...
UK band I can't stand: enter shikari

Best. oceansize, and so i watch you from afar, adebisi shank, tubelord, blakfish, throats, maths, rolo tomassi, chrick, that fucking tank, shapes, I'll just throw in beecher because they were fucking intense, etc, etc.
Worst. BMTH, enter shikari, most bands beginning with The and the fucking Arctic Monkeys.

i'd have to say GWC, but that'd be a shameless plug. Curb Crawl and Rasputin.

I used to think BMTH were bad, but ended up seeing them live when they played Amsterdam with Architects (I went to see it with the crew from my work, as a sort of bonding experience) and the show actually was very good. I guess BMTH has changed over the years, not to mention the fact that Jona has done so much good to the band as well. They've grown up.

In my opinion BMTH have always been great, Oli Sykes looks to be a bit of a cunt at times, but mostly it's they're fanbase that gave the band the bad rep that they have, and people are just too narrow minded to give them a chance and just go with the general opinion that they're worthless.

I still can't make up my mind about BMTH. Some elements of their songs are genuinely really good but there are some pretty poor bits as well. I can't listen to an album all the way through and I'm not a huge fan of them live. The drums are always triggered to fuck as well.
