'Realist Thought and Neorealist Theory' as part of my introduction to international politics module. It's alot more interesting than it sounds...

Right I just read Popco by Scarlett Thomas for my book club which is really enjoyable. Not the best written thing ever but there's lots about code breaking/puzzles which is fun. A GOOD READ. Back on All The King's Men by Robert Penn Warren as I slowly work through this list www.time.com/time/specials/packages/completelist/0,29569,1951793,00.html

Recently I've read Chuck Palahniuk's Diary, Knut Hamsun's Hunger (both good reads) and I'm currently working my way through The Beautiful and Damned by Fitzgerald and No One Is Illegal: Fighting Racism and State Violence on the U.S.-Mexico Border. The second is a pretty powerful read, and I'm only about halfway through.

The Golden Notebook is my planned next read.

I'm reading Alasdair Gray's "autopictography" whenever I'm not chained to my desk studying at the moment. Recently finished "A Reader on Reading" by Alberto Manguel, Stewart Lee's book and finally got round to reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Just finished "The Crucible" which was really great and i read it in one sitting; it was gripping and to a greater extent than i expected. Started "The Old Man and the Sea" which i shall be through quickly and plan on reading "A Clockwork Orange" while in Munich this weekend.

Finished The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing last night. Took a long time, and I enjoyed it, but I don't think I'll be rushing to read any more of hers anytime soon.
Now reading Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevsky, and after that moving on to The Manhattan Transfer by John Dos Passos, definitely looking forward to that.

Just finishing off Our Band Could Be Your Life. Think the next book I'll read will be about web usability, although I think that will only be entertaining to me.

I quite like Lessing, The Fifth Child is pretty good too. I've been reading Bill Willingham's Fables series from Vertigo, when i have time, which is almost never; but it's great! in the middle of Volume 4 right now.

Georges Bataille's The Story of the Eye. Am torn between how historically interesting it is as a sexually transgressive pornographic novel, and how hilarious it is that it's basically about a few spoiled rich kids pissing on each other and masturbating.
Basically torn between the part of me that has a lit degree and the part of me that likes Tumblr.

Been reading some James Robertson recently... just finished "And The Land Lay Still" and now I'm on to "The Testament of Gideon Mack"... both very good, really engaging. Next I'll be reading James McGonigal's biography of Edwin Morgan, after seeing him give a talk on the book and Eddy's life a couple of weeks ago

Re-reading 'And the Ass saw the Angel' by Nick Cave, after misplacing my cope halfway through the first attempt.
